Cocoon in the park is going out with a bang(er)!

Carla Waring | April 25, 2019

Cocoon in the park is a leading house and techno festival situated in Leeds, curated by Sven Väth’s record label, which started a decade ago.

Since then, Cocoon has become one of the UK’s most popular modern dance festivals – grounded on a One Day, One Night & One Stage basis.

The festival is host to some of house & techno’s finest, who are invited to play out from early morning right through till late evening.

Making the most of the sites natural amphitheatre, in recent years, Cocoon’s reputation has had a serious growth spurt.

However, it is with great sadness that we announce that the LAST EVER Cocoon in the Park will take place on Saturday 13th July 2019 over Leeds’ Temple Newsam.

Launched way back in 2009, the festival has welcomed an array of underground house and techno talent to Leeds, and to say the final goodbyes, the organisers have secured the services of some heavy hitters to join Sven on the day.

It is both a happy and sad time for us here at Haus, we are happy to announce what a sick line up number 11 is set to be, but sad that it will be the last ever one!

Drawing from the UK’s vivacious scene, the line-up includes tech-house favourites Patrick Topping and Eats Everything, as well as We Are The Brave boss Alan Fitzpatrick, and FUSE London originators Enzo Siragusa and Rich NxT.

As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end, but festival goers should expect both an emotional and an unmissable send off.

If you have never been to this amazing gig, then this is your last chance to experience it, and for those who have been supporting Cocoon over the years it would be rude not to!
